如何提高小学生学习英语的兴趣
摘要： 随着社会的发展和素质教育的深入，今天的英语教学已经不再像往日一样，只是为了应付一张试卷的“哑巴英语”。培养和提高小学生学习的兴趣，让他们敢说英语、爱说英语，打下良好的基础，这才是从事起点教育的小学英语教师的责任所在。所以，教师必须一开始就抓住学生的好奇，引导学生保持良好的心态，让孩子的英语学习兴趣不减，进而爱上英语，学好英语，值得每一位小学英语教师深思和探究。
通过这次对小学生的问卷调查使我深深明白：作为小学英语教师不仅要能说流利的英语，还要会唱歌、跳舞、绘画、善于表演，只有这样我们才能自如、恰当地运用例如讲故事、唱歌、跳舞、画画、比赛、游戏、情景表演等多种多样，生动有趣的教学手段，创设多种能激发学生学习兴趣的教学情景，才能真正做到把教学内容与学生的兴趣点结合起来，学生才能因为教学内容的吸引而兴奋起来。同时，教师除了过硬的专业知识外，还应与学生之间建立起和谐融洽、合作互动的关系。教学不仅是教与学的关系，同时也是师生双方思想和感情的交流过程。师生关系直接影响着学生的情感和意志，影响学生的认知活动。因此，教师要重视感情的投入，多与学生进行情感方面的交流，做学生的知心朋友，成为学生最值得信任的人，形成学生在老师面前无话不说、无事不谈的融洽师生关系，对学生多关心，多照顾，与学生取得心灵沟通，共同分享成功的快乐，共同克服挫折和烦恼，以自己真诚的爱唤起学生的情感共鸣。通过自己的言行、表情传递给学生亲切、鼓励、信任、尊重的情感信息使得学生不怕出错，敢于开口说英语。重视学生情感因素对学生的影响，想方设法让学生保持良好的心境，保护学生的自信心，这对培养和提高学生的学习兴趣有很大的作用。
此外，有效的教学评价也对培养和提高小学生学习的兴趣起着重要的作用。一方面使学生在英语的学习过程中不断体验进步和成功，尊重他们的人格，多肯定做得好的地方，发现他们的闪光点，认识自我，建立自信，促进学生综合语言运用能力的全面发展；充分关注学生的个性差异，发挥评价的激励作用，让学生发挥所长，树立对自己的正确评价，做学习的主人；另一方面使教师获取英语教学的反馈信息，对自己的教学行为进行反思和适当的调整，促进教师不断提高教育教学水平。促进师生之间的互动，提高学生的兴趣，引发学生对英语学习的激情，使学生慢慢地从老师要我学英语，转变为我自己想用英语与大家交流；每一个人都对学习的应用性感兴趣，当一个学生看到英语的实际用处，并且能够运用的时候，肯定会对进一步学习英语兴趣倍增，学习的效果也会极大地得到提高。只有这样，我们的英语教学才能更具科学性，才能更加符合语言学和儿童心理发展的规律，在全面提高学生素质的同时，让他们的个性得到最大限度的发展，培养出更多的符合新世纪需要的人才。
